Postcards from Midlife Life: the new show, all about positive ageing

Having been rendered invisible for far too long, mid-life women are finally getting noticed and acknowledged, whether it’s adverts featuring fiftysomething-plus ‘faces’ and real-life models, skincare that targets the menopause or a more age-appropriate clothing offering.

Tomorrow (19th May) and Saturday, however, see the first Postcards from Midife Live, an event at Islington’s Business Design Centre which is aimed at the 8.5 million women – yes, you read that right – aged between 40-60.

Postcards from Midlife Life covers everything from family and finance, dating and relationships, wellness and nutrition to careers, plus (yes!) fashion and beauty, with brands that include Beauty Bible favourites Temple Spa and Philip Kingsley, as well as Aviela Skincare and Dr. Vegan.

There’s a bookshop with author signings, a pamper zone, immersive workshops and a truly impressive line-up of speakers, who include Andi Oliver, Alice Hart-Davis, Patsy Kensit, Ruby Wax, Abigal James and Sadie Frost, among many, many others.

And can we just say: ABOUT TIME TOO?????
