Leighton Denny Wings nail polish collection
At our recent catch-up with Leighton Denny, he revealed that this is his bestselling product in M&S. And we’re so not surprised: these polishes are positively enchanting.
Each shade is sheer and iridescent, building for coverage but leaving nails to catch the light, glimmering and shimmering. (Once you’ve done a manicure with these, it’s quite hard to stop yourself just stopping frequently to admire your nails. Sad but completely true.)
There are three downsized, 5ml bottles in the set – but even these last absolutely ages. (Note: we think they’re better on fingers than toes, where the effect is slightly lost simply because you don’t move your toes around so much, to catch the light!) Each of the shades can also be layered over other polish options, like a ‘colour cocktail’ (as he puts it), to give an existing polish a whole new look.
The set features sheer pink Butterfly Wings (actually Leighton Denny’s top-selling shade of all), with a blue luminescence. Dragonfly Wings is sheer turquoise, with the same almost holographic iridescence, while Firefly Wings is a soft peach version, offering the same shimmer and glimmer.
