Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Lanolips Glossy Balm
Is it a balm? Is it a gloss? Well, it’s both (and performs well on both fronts). The newest addition from Lanolips – which means it’s lanolin-powered, since that nourishing ingredient is a cornerstone of this Aussie brand, and very comforting indeed.
There are two shades, equally flattering (and you could pretty much apply them in the dark). Berry looks quite deep in the tube, but goes on like an enhanced natural lip shade (and yes, it’s slightly berry-flavoured). Candy is more of a strawberry pink, equally flattering; we thought we’d noticed a little glimmer of gold shimmer in there – and sure enough. Very pretty. (And neither in the least sticky, BTW.)
They’re headed straight for our handbags – slimline slicks of loveliness that are honestly all our summer lips need.
