What really turned us into fangirls of this singer-actress is her make-up line, which now also has bodycare sitting alongside it. It’s ‘Bouncy’ by name, bouncy by texture – a cream-gel, which sinks right into skin and leaves it with a smooth sheen and a touch-me-soft velvety texture. While definitely not all-natural, shea and murumuru butters do feature, together with jojoba oil. It’s also paraben-free and cruelty-free, as well as being trumpeted as ‘sulphate-free’ (though that makes us a teensy bit cross, because nobody adds a sulphate to a body cream).

That niggle aside, it’s lovely. Gently, not overwhelmingly, peachy-scented – and very, very swiftly effective. In fact, it’s the perfect ‘instant body prep’ for when you need to bare your skin. Like today, which – despite only being early April – was cast-off-your-tights weather.

We have no faith our tights are back in the drawer permanently, but we’re making hay – and flashing our satiny shins – while the sun shines.
