A fab pressie for the make-up obsessed, this set of synthetic brushes works brilliantly with cream and liquid formulations, in particular, but is also good for powder formulations – and with nine in the set you've literally got every beauty need covered, from foundation to powder to brushes for all the fiddly tasks around the eye, including an utterly brilliant blender brush that's just great for a smokey eye.
We just adore the faux marble handles and the equally fab faux marble bag that the kit comes in, and we're generally impressed with the quality of Lily England's line-up. (So much so that Jo's gone out and bought some more hairbrushes, for herself, as well as using these.)
We think this would make a fantastic present for any make-up devotee of pretty much any age: the rose gold's going to appeal to the millennial user (who will also like the fact the brushes are vegan), the marble finish to anyone of – well, our age, actually. And that's quite a span.
They love a pun at Lily England (as do we). So overall, we're just going to steal their own description of the brush set: marble-ous.
