The Pure Collection by The One Atelier Fekkai

Things have been a little quiet on the Frédéric Fekkai front this side of the pond for a fair few years now. He sold his brand, disappeared off the radar, and we thought he’d just gone off to stare at sunsets in Provence.

So we were delighted to be invited to Urban Retreat at The White House (their new premises are v-e-r-y gorgeous by the way and we promise we will be reporting more very soon…), to celebrate his residency and opening of this hair genius’s new atelier.

He’s bought his name back – and we were introduced to the Frédéric’s new collection, The Pure Collection by The One Atelier Fekkai. And we are seriously impressed. 95% natural, sulfate- and silicone-free, vegan and cruelty-free, with a beautiful fragrance that has since resulted in lots of lovely hair sniffing compliments. (He’s always been obsessed with scent and also has a Provence-inspired fragrance line, Bastide.)

The range currently consists of a very gentle cleansing shampoo, a lightweight but moisture-replenishing conditioner and brilliant mist that detangles and nourishes. (Currently, you’ll have to head to Urban Retreat at The White House in person to find it – clearly no hardship – but we’ll let you know when it pops up on-line.)

We couldn’t be happier to see Frédéric and his lovely brand return and open him with welcome arms and very happy hair.
