Weekend Steal... Leighton Denny Trio 3-in-1 Nail Buffer
Do you buff your nails? It can help to keep them in tip-top nick, tackling flaking, splitting, ridged nails. Jo has become prone to these challenges, since menopause, but keeps the situation under control with this buffer. The bonus? Buffing also leaves nails smooth, ensuring polish goes on super-smooth, for maximum shine.
There are some rules with buffers, though. First off, the rule is never to do it so vigorously or for so long that the nail gets hot. Aside from that, the how-to with the Leighton Denny Trio 3-in-1 Buffer is as follows…
Buff. Here’s how you get rid of light discolouration and those pesky ridges. Use lightly and buff side to side, and NB Only use this side every on nail growth that hasn’t been buffed previously.
Smooth. Use the one marked 2. Smooth Nail for this – you don’t need to use this for more than a few strokes, but it does create a more even finish. It’s every two to three weeks, for this.
Shine. The side marked 3. Miracle Shine is the miracle-worker, creating a glassy, glossy finish to nails, so that you can leave them bare, add a clear coat of base coat for protection, or go for a full paint job; whatever you choose, the finish will be sheen-y and fab. Use as often as required, but be careful (see above) not to over-buff.
Buffing encourages blood flow and as such may boost nail growth, but it’s also great for flaky nails because by gently removing the flakes in this way, nails are less prone to ‘catching’, and splitting.
We keep it handy on the bedside; one of those beauty rituals that’s soothing to perform at night, on polish-free nails. We usually then slather with nail oil, for an overnight deep treatment.
