Floral Street Bath & Body Collection
Is Floral Street on your radar yet? This new fragrance house (which launched last November and has a flagship on Covent Garden’s King Street) offers fabulous, affordable scents created by one of the world’s star perfumers, Jérôme Epinette. Jo’s been swathed in their Chypre Sublime since they launched – a wonderful, modern-sophisticated new addition to her fragrance wardrobe.
The fragrances are swell – and so is Floral Street’s attitude to packaging, seeking out more sustainable options. (The boxes the scents come in are entirely biodegradeable and make great seed-starter trays – as our windowsills attest!)
At Beauty Bible we’re perhaps even more excited by this, though – a stunning collection of bodycare. Floral Street’s gently cleansing Body Wash and rich, buttery Body Cream – powered by shea butter, sweet almond and argan oils – currently come in four fragrances.
Jo will have to wait a while longer for her Chypre Sublime layering opportunity – but Iris Goddess is her second fave, with its powdery violets and rich musks. Also available are Wonderland Peony (sheer floral, with flashes of lemon and pink berries), Neon Rose (an utterly contemporary rose, drizzled with peach), and Wild Vanilla Orchid, a sophisticated vanilla garlanded with jasmine and smoothed by sandalwood.
The tubes, meanwhile, are made from a by-product of sugar cane, and are entirely recyclable.
As a bunch of greenies from way back, at Beauty Bible, we're just loving the more sustainable path that beauty and fragrance brands are following – led by names like Floral Street.
