We're looking for testers for deeper shades of foundation/concealer – is that you?
Hallelujah.
Over the past few years, the foundation market has been transformed for the better, offering a much more inclusive shade range. This is such a different scenario to when we started writing our books, when literally the only brand we could point readers to was Fashion Fair – and then Iman, a bit later. Within mainstream ranges…? Nada.
Today, some brands now offering up to 40 shades in foundations and concealers. So, for the Beauty Bible Awards 2023 we are looking for a panel of 10 testers with a range of deeper skintones to put a selection of these foundations and concealers through their paces, helping to steer women to great make-up choices.
There’s no charge for testing – but your commitment is to trial them diligently and fill in the detailed forms.
If you’re selected from the applicants, we’ll then ask for photos to help the brands identify your optimum shade match from their ranges. NB We’re interested in staying power, ease of application, comfort and other aspects of the foundations, in our questionnaires – not just how well it matches your complexion. We’ll need your (detailed) forms back by end of February at the latest, so there’s some homework to do!
If you’re successful, expect to hear from us by close of play on Monday 30th January.
