Fab Find of the Week: NARS Claudette Collection

We just love how, everywhere we look, age barriers are coming down. Role models are emerging who prove that there really is no reason not to look fab, whatever your age – and one woman proving that definitively is make-up artist François Nars’s mum, Claudette, who is the inspiration for his latest colour collection.

Actually, Claudette is the #inspo for much, much more than that. She was apparently the must behind behind other bestsellers like Orgasm blush and Laguna bronzer – and has been with her son every step of the way. So: this collection is dedicated to the woman who encouraged him to follow his dreams – while looking pretty darned glamorous, with it.

Described as a ‘love letter’ to the beautiful Claudette, who you can see below, the range includes limited edition creations, in beautiful red and black packaging. 

• Saint Germain des Prés Eyeshadow Palette/£36, with six silky-smooth shimmering/matte/satin shades

• Super-wearable Claudette Cheek Duo/£37 – apparently blush has always been Claudette’s secret weapon, so this features a beautiful coral and a sun-kissed rosewood, for a very natural finish.

• Six shades of Audacious Sheer Matte Lipstick/£26 (a very clever formula, which is – as the name suggests – sheer).
