Decléor Aroma Cleanse Bi-Phase Caring Cleanser & Makeup Remover

If you like cleansing waters, you’re going to go nuts for this newbie from Decléor. It is literally the most effective we’ve ever tried.

A shake-before-use, ‘dual-phase’ product, it works a little differently to micellar waters as it’s a blend of botanical oils and ‘precious floral water’ – more akin to the dual-phase eye make-up removers we’re addicted to, but for the whole face. (NB If the ‘Aroma’ in the name gives the idea that it’s highly-scented, however, you should know that the fragrance is actually super-subtle.)

We tried it first one morning, anticipating that there wouldn't be much on the cotton pad swiped over skin. How wrong we were. It was really, really grubby – meaning that the previous night’s cleanse (with a cleansing balm and muslin) hadn’t done nearly as much good as we’d thought.

Then we tried it at night – and were properly blown away. It’s a great make-up remover generally, excellent for removing eye make-up – powerful, yet gentle on eyes, too.

It comes in two sizes: 200 ml, and a 400 ml ‘Super Size’.

We figure they’ll have to bottle it in litres, before long.
