These are just the prettiest cream blushers, perfect for this time of year because they blend seamlessly over bare skin or tinted moisturiser.

We’ll keep it simple, here. But the challenge with many cream blushers – a texture we do love – is that you apply it and then have to blend madly in order to avoid a Widow Twankey look and/or visible edges.

By contrast this is truly ‘buildable’ colour: it goes on like a whisper of a veil, and you just keep dabbing till you’ve got the desired level of blushing beauty.

The compact also features a pearly highlighter (we rarely bother with these, though). But the super-flattering blusher shades are Pretty Fresh (coral-pink) and Seduce Blush (nude pink).

Charlotte promises a ‘just-run-through-a-meadow’ finish. (Make that ‘just-galloped-through-a-meadow’ finish, in Sarah’s case?) Which certainly put a smile on our faces, while delivering a glow to our cheeks.
