Ridiculously extravagant, we acknowledge. But what we will also say (in its defence) is that Louboutin polish is amazing stuff: super-glossy, eye-popping colours, wonderfully durable – and a faceted bottle with a calligraphy-inspired stiletto lid that’s like no other. They promise that the highly-pigmented formula (which is free from toluene, formaldehyde and DBP) ‘achieves in two coats the effect of 20 layers of traditional lacquer’. There are five shades, from scarlet Edgypopi to inky black Khol. Though there’s no way we’re choosing something that matches the clothes we’re just stowing away for summer – so we’ve gone for hot pink Bengali, above.
