Now, some of the original shades of Stila Heaven's Dew Gel Lip Oil had a bit of a ‘disco glitter’ vibe (though we could see their appeal for the party season, or the beach). But the new crop – which just dropped on the Stila site – features eight glorious, lip-tinting shades which go on way more sheer than the line-up you see above would suggest. (Even the ‘Ice Queen’ blue, second form right, just gives a sort of crystalline finish to lips, rather than any actual blue.) You can see what we mean in the swatches, below…
The formula is dispensed from the little clear pot – on a generous doe-foot wand, for easy application – and morphs into a mega-comfy balm-gel on contact with lips, delivering a high-shine finish and lashings of plumping moisture from hyaluronic acid and jojoba seed oil. Working like a balm, it then seals in your own moisture.
