Beauty Bible Loves... Sol de Ibiza Sunscreens

Ah, Ibiza. How do we love thee? Let us count the ways. In truth, Formentera – a little island off Ibiza – is more Beauty Bible’s style, but these sun-drenched Spanish isles are definitely somewhere we’ve escaped to in our minds, during the long run-up to summer this year.

It was somewhat closer to home, however, at Natural & Organic Expo 2023, that we happened – happily – across Sol de Ibiza sunscreens, which have us dreaming of blue seas and beachy days.

There’s lots that notable about Sol de Ibiza, including the all-natural, non-chemical sunscreen formulations, based on non-nano zinc oxide mineral; the skin-meltingly soft, waterless texture, which blends beautifully (especially in the warmth of the sun); the plastic-free packaging.

The swivel-up  Sol de Ibiza Sunscreen Stick SPF50 – in a cardboard tube – is particularly genius: simply make a few sweeps on the face, neck and chest, then blend with fingers. The tins are great, too, though – in an SPF30 and and SPF50 option. (We always go higher when we can, even though the increase in protection is much slimmer than the numbers suggest.)

Equally at home in the beach bag we’ll be lugging across the Sussex shingle as it would be at Las Ilietas…
