Fab Find of the Week: Chantecaille Mermaid Eye Matte

At a loose end, recently, Jo nipped into SpaceNK for a play. Even though we get to try many, many different products in the line of duty, we still like to check out the whole spectrum of products – and Jo’s so glad she stumbled upon this.

Literally the most goof-proof, easy-to-apply eyeshadow she’s ever tried, it could literally be applied in the dark. The effect is sheer, shadow-y – very much what we want for a weekend look, when we can’t be faffed to reach for brushes. Dab a finger, smoosh onto eyelids. It’s that simple.

What’s more, it really, really stays put. (Not that we’ve been in ‘mermaid’ mode ourselves lately – but we’ve high hopes.)

Her shade is Bee – the one on the right – though Jo’s pot has the Chantecaille ‘C’ logo, rather than the rather nice bee design. (There are eight great neutrals in all, and we’ll be checking out some of the others.)
