Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: e.l.f. Glow Reviver Lip Oil

We do love a lip oil. So comfy, so nourishing, so welcome at this end of winter. But this super-bargain Glow Reviver Lip Oil from e.l.f. (who can barely put a foot wrong, in our book) has the bonus of being tinted, for a sheer slick of colour while it cocoons and nurtures your lips. Sheer enough, basically, to be able to swipe it on in the dark.

Six flattering options, see below (and one clear) – although we’re particularly drawn to the darkest, Jam Session, a sheer berry/wine suits-everyone shade which, on the lips, intensifies their colour just a tad, that’s all. Nothing to be scared of.

It can be layered over lipstick to add a touch of shine – but underneath, too, so that lipstick goes on much more lightly and transparently.

Kudos to Clarins, meanwhile, for first inventing the lip oil – since when they’ve become a huge category. Hermès even have one – but why pay more, when there’s this one to play with?
