Beauty Bible's Weekend Steal: Our latest e.l.f. haul

We are lucky enough to be sent loads and loads of make-up but when we’ve needed a little spirit-lifting splurge, during lockdown, we have several times headed to e.l.f. (Eyes.Lips.Face).

Now, we’d never buy cheap shoes. But make-up? Absolutely: there are so many great finds out there that don’t break the bank. And this week, we’re going to share examples that we just acquired from the e.l.f. website – where, if you spend £25 or more, you can choose a couple of ‘free gift’ items from a list – and that way, we’ve made some other great finds, too.

So, from that haul… (Click on any of the product names to visit that page.)

e.l.f. Sheer Matte Lipstick/£6 – this was a freebie, but a joy to discover. It’s sheer, it’s not too matte and it isn’t drying.

e.l.f. Putty Blush/£5 – a great creamy blusher in a range of shades that you can try on via the Virtual Try On technology (ditto the Matte Lipstick, above), to see which is your best shade.

e.l.f. Jelly Pop Lip Gloss/£5 – darn it, this is out of stock at the mo, but it’s a fab, sheer gloss that quenches lips with hyaluronic acid and isn’t too sticky. Hopefully they’ll replenish soon.

e.l.f. Flawless Brightening Concealer/£5 – honestly as good as other click-wand concealers we’ve tried at five times the price, really good at covering dark shadows – and a brilliant range of light-to-dark shades. Bravo!

e.l.f. Poreless Putty Concealer/£8 – good for smoothing out the complexion and blurring lines (especially between the brows). Allegedly this concealer range is America’s No.1 and we’re actually not surprised… (For nine quid you can get a trial kit of all three primers, which is fantabulous value.)

Absolute steals, each and every one…
