VOYA Serums
VOYA, famous for harnessing the wonder properties of seaweed to create luxurious bath, body and skincare products, have very excitingly launched these three new power house serums – and they’ve been a firm fixture on our bathroom shelf since we were lucky enough to get our hands on them.
The brand are passionate about sustainability (hand-harvesting the wild seaweed from the Atlantic coast of Ireland - learn more here) as well as science and innovation, the latest trio are COSMOS-certified and stay true to their roots, including always using seaweeds to create the formulas. Beauty Bible’s Exec Editor Amy Eason has been the one to road test these – and here’s here report.
Hyaluronate Anti-Pollution Serum/£64 for 30 ml, provides immediate and lasting hydration and uses extracts from Fucus Serratus (rich in antioxidants) and Himanthalia Elongata, which helps to balance oil production and strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier. We can feel our skin just drinking this up.
Vitamin C Antioxidant Serum/£66 for 30 ml, smells divinely of bergamot and lemon, using a stablized vitamin C for its gentle yet effective action. It incorporates the same seaweed extracts as the Hyaluronate version, maximising on those antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties to boost radiance and reduce redness.
And last but not least, Bio-Retinol Concentrate Serum/£69 for 30 ml, uses Revinage - a plant-based alternative to retinoids (so it’s less reactive for those with sensitive skins) to stimulate cellular proliferation, collagen production and reduce the appearance of blemishes.
