Temple Spa skin-calming newness

Anything with the word ‘calm’ in its title is going to push our buttons at the mo. So top of the list to try in the care package that recently landed on our desks from Temple Spa were some products specifically designed for sensitive skin – something there’s an epidemic of among our friends and readers, right now. So we dived right in…

It’s rare, actually, that everything in a ‘drop’ pushes our buttons. But the line-up of newness from this Beauty Bible Award-winning brand features so many button-pushers that we thought we’d give you a little round-up, here. Not so much a Fab Find of the Week as Fab FINDS. (In truth, BECALM was an existing product – but this was the perfect time to rediscover it.)

BE STILL (Face Moisturiser for Sensitive Skin)/£38 for 50ml. We can almost hear our skin saying ‘thank you’, when smoothing in this ‘settling’ moisturiser, as Temple Spa describe it. Lightly hydrating and calming – it features their CalmadermTM blend of aromatic Mediterranean botanicals, alongside prebiotics – this leaves skin silky and soothed.

BECALM (Face Mask for Sensitive Skin)/£28 for 65ml. An existing favourite mask that now sits within this range for grouchy skins, this is a luscious mask featuring that same CalmadermTM blend – a fab skin drink that plumps and calms as you ‘relax for 10-20 minutes’. (We LOVE being told to do that!

BE GONE (Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin)/£21 for 150ml. If you love a cream cleanser, you’ll adore this – once again packed with prebiotics, which are such good news for skin that’s flaring up, helping to boost skin’s natural microbiome. Luscious, nourishing – and just a delight to use.

GLOWCOLIC (Resurfacing Glycolic Acid Toner)/£20 for 150ml. We would use this sparingly and occasionally on skin that was feeling touchy, but it’s a brilliant brightener for a complexion with the winter-will-soon-be-upon-us ‘blahs’, featuring vitamin C, glycolic acid and lashings of hyaluronic acid.

CLEAN UP YOUR ACT (Facial Cleansing Brush)/£50. To be honest, we’d only use this occasionally on sensitive skins; it really is quite stimulating. But we do really like the non-cleansing ‘end’ of the gadget, with a ridge design that pulses low-frequency waves to boost cell regeneration. It is also fantastic for busting the stress that we are all carrying in our jaws, right now…

And all together now: b-r-e-a-t-h-e…
