We’ll hand over to Melisande, aged nine for the insider gen on the Child’s Farm Coco-Nourish Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-in Conditioner, all of which are suitable for sensitive scalps (in common with the entire Child’s Farm range), and in this case, created for curly and dry hair. So, Melisande’s dark hair isn’t dry, or curly – but it’s thick, long, there’s lots of it, and it’s normally a nightmare for her mother to untangle. ‘We used all the three products on my hair when I shampooed it,’ she reports. ‘I have really thick hair and when my mum brushes my hair, normally it really hurts. But when she brushed my hair this time, it didn’t tug and hurt at all, and I was really happy to have my hair washed for the first time EVER in all of history.’ As for the coconutty smell? ‘Very, very, very nice,’ says our tester. ‘Absolutely a hit for me.’ (We agree: it’s delicious, not overwhelming, and definitely not too sweetly ‘Bounty-ish’.)
