Squirrel Glow to Go with Abigail James
Don’t think we’ve ever written about a salad before. But this is not your average salad: it’s been created by superfacialist Abigail James (author of Love Your Skin, and one of our great-skin go-to therapists) for a South Kensington healthy eating hangout.
The Glow to Go salad is packed with skin-loving ingredients: antioxidant pomegranate, detoxing beetroot, vitamin C- and anthocyanin-rich red cabbage, and omega-3-powered flaxeeds, among other deliciousness. It’s the latest in a series of collaborations, named ‘Best in Field’ by Squirrel, who’ve also worked with Levison Wood and England cricket captain Heather Knight and whose back-to-nature décor offers a counter hewn from a fallen oak, among other decorative flourishes.
Can’t get to South Ken? A packed lunch superbowl salad – surprisingly quick to prepare – features a mix of the above definitely makes a skin-friendlier alternative to a sarnie and crisps.
But you’ll be missing out on Squirrel’s groovy ‘treehouse’ vibe.
