Make your own scented candle at a workshop with Jonathan Ward (and Jo Fairley!)

A wee while ago we shared with you our new home fragrance find, Jonathan Ward Candles. Jonathan is one of the pioneers in creating candles using natural waxes and a special ‘clean-burning’ technology – no nasty smoky fumes and particulates from these gorgeous creations. (Read more about them here.)

And now on Saturday 5th October, you have the opportunity to create your very own scented candle with Jonathan at his workshop in ‘hipster central’ (a.k.a. the East End, not far from Bethnal Green tube).

Jo (Beauty Bible’s Jo Fairley) will be there co-hosting, and so we thought you might be interested to come along.

You’ll blend your scent for the candle, customising a scent from different accords available. Then you’ll practice making your very own candle; from mixing the oils to pouring the wax, making it a very hands-on experience. The workshop will be led by the immensely talented Jonathan Ward and his team, who will undoubtedly share invaluable candle-related knowledge throughout the day.
