Wake up with Color Wow and The Brilliant Breakfast – in aid of Women Supporting Women
Put the kettle on. Order in the croissants. Grind those beans! And get set to join a virtual ‘Brilliant Breakfast’ at 9 a.m. next Tuesday 13th October, to be hosted by Color Wow in aid of The Prince's Trust ‘Women Supporting Women’ initiative.
These breakfasts are going on up and down the country to raise funds for the many young women who need support and receive it via The Prince’s Trust. We know that young women are some of the hardest hit by the recent pandemic; accounting firm PWC found that 80% of those who have lost their job throughout the pandemic are women, two thirds of these are 18-34, while women are a third more likely to work in a sector that has been or will be shut down due to restrictions.
You can tune in to hear the the inside scoop on ‘the changing face of the beauty landscape throughout the COVID-19 era’, presented by:
• Celebrity hair stylists Dom Seeley (Color Wow’s International Creative Director) and James Johnson (reality TV superstylist and Color Wow Ambassador)
• Make-up artist, beauty expert and all-round lovely person Caroline Barnes (she’s whisked her brushes across the faces of celebrity clients including Ruth Wilson, Gemma Chan, Rochelle Humes and Gugu McBatha Raw, among others).
Color Wow tell us: ‘Dom and James will be sharing celebrity stylist tips and tricks, educating on the importance of hair and scalp health and discussing how they have adapted the new ways of working in a Covid-safe environment and looking at upcoming trends for hair.’
Caroline Barnes will share her insights and expertise on easy ways to adapt your make-up to the ‘new normal’. In addition, she will be sharing advice on the best way to care for your skin, as we continue to navigate our skin concerns in this face-covering period.
Attendance to the event is free with attendees encouraged to donate £5, which will go straight to The Prince’s Trust.
