L'Occitane Lips & Fruit collection
There’s some gorgeous new, fruit-tastic lip lusciousness from L’Occitane that we want to share. Five different products – and we’re hard-pressed to decide which we like best, frankly.
Let’s kick off with the Delicious Lip Scrubs – because they are, honestly. Now, don’t leave these lying around anywhere near the breakfast table because they look just like jam – in Marmalade Kiss, Raspberry Crush and Fabulous Fig versions, all powered by vitamin E and lip-nourishing oils. (Our favourite? Well, we’re suckers for raspberries so have rather fallen for that one…)
There are five balms: the Delicious Multi-Balm – colourless, packed with botanical oils of pomelo, pomegranate and carrot – together with four Tinted Balms, in orange Carrot Fizz, hot coral Miss Grenadine, rosebud-esque Pink Calisson and Gimme Mauve. The first three, we think, would suit all skintones; the mauve perhaps best for cool complexions. Lightly fruit-scented, they’re an utter, summery joy.
A range of sheer Fruity Lipsticks is up next: a sweep of colour with a nourishing core inside the lipstick, and a choice of shades from pale nude to violet, with a wonderful, luscious blackberry look when it’s on the lips.
Last but absolutely, no way, by no means least, L’Occitane bring us Fruity Perfecting Balm, a lip-plumping stick of balm which looks off-puttingly yellow in the tube but morphs to your ‘perfect’ shade on the lips.
Make-up and lipcare at its summery, most-fun best. Simply reapply after ice cream…
