Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Concealer
This is one of the most phenomenal concealers we’ve ever tried. (If you can hear a ‘whooshing’ sound, that’s the noise from this little tube of Armani wonder speeding into our make-up kits.)
Their Power Fabric foundation has become a bestseller since its launch, offering amazingly high coverage while feeling weightless. This is the the concealer incarnation – Power Fabric Concealer – which glides on via a slim doe-foot applicator and is tapped into skin. There’s an incredibly high concentration of pigments to conceal shadows, reflecting light (which also makes it brilliant for disguising forehead furrows between the eyes). You really don’t need much product for an amazingly concealing effect.
We’re not going to bore you with all the bumf in the press release about ‘volatile solvents’ and ‘semi-volatile solvents’ – we’re just going to tell you what happens on the skin. It has great staying power, is especially great on those ‘blue’ bits on the inner corner of the eye and for covering red bits you feel self-conscious about (including broken veins – and potentially rosacea, though we don’t suffer from that). And it comes in 20 shades, six light, 10 medium, 14 dark. It’s not entirely matte, and (though luminous) isn’t shimmery.
