Fab Find of the Week: Sculpted Aimee Connolly Full Face Edit All in One Palette

It is rare as hen’s teeth that we come across a palette in which every shade is then used, every product perfect.

BUT HERE IT IS.

This is the ‘Golden Highlights’ version of Sculpted Aimee Connolly Full Face Edit All in One Palette: a mirrored compact by this brand (we’re BIG fans), which Ireland-based, leading TV and editorial make-up artist Aimee Connolly founded in 2016. And if you’re looking for something to replace your entire make-up kit, on the go – well, just add mascara – this honestly delivers.

The shades are all brilliant neutrals; in the palette, which is generously-sized but fits comfortably in the palm, you will find a bronzer, a powder blush, two eyeshadows – one matte (great for shading, even under the eyes), one lightly shimmering (perfect for lids). There’s a gilded powder highlighter which we’re been using on brow-bones (though come summer, a whisper on cheekbones will probably be in order).

All the luxe textures work well just with a finger, actually – though you can always use brushes. But the crowning glory is a buttery-textured cream blusher in the centre which can also be used on lips for a wash of perfect, suits-all-skintones-and-liptones rosiness. And the full-face mirror really lets you see exactly what you’re doing with it all.

You’ll find several subtly different shades in Full Face Edit, but this Golden Highlights palette – the one which we were gifted – would work perfectly on cool and warm skintones.

Despite the gilding and the bronzer, the palette’s perfect for perking up a winter face. But we’re also looking forward to saving SOOOOO much weight in our luggage with this, next time a holiday beckons.
