Fab Find Of The Week: OLVERUM hand and body newness

Once upon a bathtime, heritage name OLVERUM was known – to those-in-the-know (that included us) – as a potent, aromatherapeutic blend of oils that variously helped ‘clear your passages’, balance the mind and generally act as an antidote to stressful living. That amazing oil, in fact, is unique in having won ‘Best Uplifting Bath Treat’ AND ‘Best Relaxing Bath Treat’, in the same year’s Beauty Bible Awards.

The (honestly lovely) family who distributed this iconic bath product in the UK went on to acquire the brand, and then set about launching a succession of products which draw on the different essential oils in the original, but are tailored to each formula. In particular, we’re mad for the OLVERUM Dry Body Oil and the OLVERUM Body Scrub, but are now thrilled to be able to share with you three new launches, which are properly pleasing our senses.

Body Cleanser/£26.50 for 250ml. Body washes don’t get fresher-feeling than this, created with the same essential oil blend synonymous with the original bath oil. Over 90% natural, it is vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, free of sulphates/parabens/synthetic fragrances – but equally importantly, gently sudsing and (of course!) smells divine.

Purifying Hand Wash/£22 for 250ml. It’s a funny thing: we got into the habit of washing hands during You Know What, and now feel properly grubby if we don’t immediately head for the basin to cleanse our paws, after being in the big wide world. OLVERUM’s oils of lavandin, geranium and marjoram are wonderfully aromatic, herbaceous and ‘clean-smelling’, but the formula’s actually very gentle on skin while lathering generously.

Soothing Hand Lotion/£25 for 250ml. Like the name says, s-o-o-t-h-i-n-g – and honestly lovely. 99.55% natural ingredients, very refreshing-feeling, and enough of that rosemary and lavandin scent to keep us (and our hands) very happy indeed.

Plus the bottles are made from 50% recycled materials, and are also recyclable.
