Fab Find of the Week: Neal’s Yard Remedies Women’s Balance Body Collection
Worth every square inch of real estate that it takes up on the bathroom shelf, this new line-up from Neal’s Yard, which has been born out of their bestselling aromatherapy blend. And actually, we’ve been scheduling more baths than usual, to lie back and soak up its blissful aroma.
It’s scent that gets us every time, and if you like something properly aromatherapeutic and ‘spa-y’, you’re going to love this as much as we do. The blend, in which the star essential oils are geranium, rose, frankincense and patchouli, has been specifically created with NYR’s signature expertise to ‘harmonise body and mind, giving a sense of balance to the body’s natural rhythms and cycles’ – and we’d say it does exactly that. So much of our lives are spent ‘in our heads’, creating a ritual with one, some or all of this collection reminds us: we have bodies, and they deserve some love and care, too.

Women’s Balance Shower Oil (£19.50 for 200ml) – oh, we do love a shower oil, an all-in one product that gently cleanses but replenishes at the same time – in this case, with macadamia and sea buckthorn oils, clinically proven to moisturise for up to 24 hours
Women’s Balance Body Cream (£30 for 200ml) – poised somewhere between a cream and a butter, we’d say, with lashings of skin-conditioning macadamia and sea buckthorn,

Women’s Balance Foaming Bath (£15 for 200ml) – not the hugest fans of foaming baths, generally, but with its aloe vera and glycerine, this doesn’t strip skin at all
Women’s Balance Massage Oil (£14 for 100ml) – oh, we love, love, LOVE this – yes, rich enough to be used for massage, but also just great for a last-thing-at-night generous slather, particularly shins which can be challengingly dry, flaky and sometimes itchy.
Women’s Balance Bath Salts (£15 for 350g) – this hefty jar is actually our favourite in the collection, based on mineral-rich sea salt crystals and intensely infused with that essential oil blend.
