Fab Find of the Week: Erborian Super BB

First thing notable, here: look at that shade range! Well DONE to Erborian, for such an inclusive line-up in this fab new BB. All in all, definitely lives up to the ‘Super’ name in every way.

As followers of our Beauty Bible Awards will know, Erborian – a Korean-inspired French name (now under the umbrella of L’Occitane) – are the ‘BB Kings’.

We have genuinely lost count of the awards they’ve scooped in the ‘Alphabet Cream’ category, and…without giving too much away, we suggest you keep your eyes peeled for the results in our next Awards, launching 6th April 2022 via Instagram Lives.

As BB creams go, Erborian Super BB offers high coverage – akin to a foundation, actually (and much higher than any other BB cream we’ve tried) But it also delivers skincare benefits: skin-awakening ginseng and complexion-smoothing niacinamide, among other goodies, to help tackle pimples, blackheads and pores.

Five shades might not sound like a lot, but they do cover every skintone and are ‘adaptive’, in our experience. At the same time, they’re as ‘radiant’ as some BB creams (which can be a bit strobe-y), and genuinely a foundation replacement, particularly as we segue from winter to spring. What else do we like? The fact that it’s available in a 15ml size, perfect for travel but also for checking out whether it’s right for you, before springing for the 30ml version.
