Fab Find of the Week: Elemis Pro-Collagen Green Fig Cleansing Balm

No matter how much you love a product, there may come a time when you decide to switch purely for a little extra excitement in your life (and your beauty regime). We certainly know the feeling.

But that’s where Elemis are so clever, with Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm. We’ve lost count of the different fragrant twists on this multi-award-winning balm that we’ve enjoyed: a longstanding favourite cleanser which mixes things up occasionally by introducing new scents. In the past, we’ve much enjoyed an orange blossom and a rose version – that one’s still in the range; there is also a fragrance-free version, but that’s missing out on a real sensory joy, we think.

So, meet the most aromatic version yet of this make-up melting, skin-loving, ultra-luscious cleanser. Elemis Pro-Collagen Green Fig Cleansing Balm smells fresh, natural, cool, a little bit woody and – well, different, in an entirely good way. Same brilliant cleansing action, though (ideally swooshed away with a warm, wet flannel; this does come with a small flannel-like cloth, but you’ll need more than one cloth in rotation).

What we must add is that the tub is so vast that even if you apply it super-generously, this will last A Very Long Time before you use the last scraping from the generous tub.

By which point, if we’re lucky, they’ll have come up with a new fragrant version, to keep us from ever, ever getting bored.
