Fab Find of The Week: e11even fragrance oil

We’ve become rather addicted to this pulse-point rollerball, since it landed on our desks. TBH, much as we love the idea of rollerballs and their mood-shifting power, none has ‘stuck’ in our lifestyles till this one, or been worn in the manner of a fine fragrance.

First, the back story: e11even fragrance oil was created by make-up artist Amanda Grossman back in 2005. Her client and friend Cat Deeley promptly fell in love with it, and has been wearing it ever since. What is now e11even became the ‘secret fragrance’ of other A-listers on Amanda’s list. Then, this year, the pair decided to let the world in on the secret – and we’re so pleased they did!

The oil majors on two of our all-time fragrance ingredients, rose and geranium, with a touch of citrus and lots of earthy woodiness, in the base: some patchouli, warmed by amber. It really clings and lasts, thanks the oil base; once applied, you’ll still sense it, hours later. In terms of mood-shifting? Very grounding, almost cocooning – great for stressful moments or just for feeling like you’re giving yourself some much-needed, well-deserved TLC.

Brilliant for tethering us to Planet Earth, frankly. And we can think of way more than 11 reasons to love this…
