Fab Find of The Week: Dr.PAWPAW YOUR Gorgeous SKIN
Patience is a virtue, our mothers always used to tell us. And we’ve certainly had to be patient for this new skincare range from Dr.PAWPAW, best known until now for their balms – ‘everything-everywhere-all-at-once’ multi-taskers.
Jo first got her, um, paws on this collection when she went to give a little motivational presentation to the Dr.PAWPAW team last year about the story of Green & Black’s. The gift to everyone at the lunch was a set of samples of the skincare – and Jo was so impressed that she asked for replenishments (still in their temporary packaging), once every last scrap of the samples was used up. They’ve been travelling with her, ever since.
The whole collection is super-skin-quenching but also very gentle. It’s all infused with a mega-moisturising ingredient which glories in the name of PAPAYALURONIC™ – basically ‘papayaluronic acid’ (it still makes us smile!), which is a fusion of Dr.PAWPAW’s signature skin-brightening papaya, with not one, not two but eight different types and weight of hyaluronic acid.
The whole range gets a thumbs-up, from us – but we do have some particular favourites…
Dr. PAWPAW YOUR Gorgeous SKIN Cleansing Balm/£15 for 30ml. An absolutely fabulous, make-up melting balm that is gentle enough to massage into eyes, dissolving eye make-up (even stubborn mascara), ready for it to be swooshed away with a wet washcloth.
Dr. PAWPAW YOUR Gorgeous SKIN 4-in-1 Face Serum/£15 for 30ml. So silky, so skin-smoothing – this has wonderful ‘slip’ on the skin, but also plumps and brightens beautifully. Like the whole range, it is very impressively priced.
Dr. PAWPAW YOUR Gorgeous SKIN SPF50 Day Cream/£18 for 30ml. Works well as a make-up primer, and we love the reassurance of an SPF50 and high UVA protection, now the sun’s getting stronger. It’s properly moisturising – like the rest of the range, powered by that PAPAYALURONIC™ ingredient.

Honestly worth the wait (and all the hard work we know has gone into this fabulous range, with its smile-making, colourful packaging). Incredibly reasonably-priced for the quality, too.
Our patience has been well and truly rewarded!
