Choose from sugar almond pink Nova, pistachio shot with gold Vega, or iridescent iced blue Polaris. The shades of this limited edition trio of Celestial Nail Sheers were inspired by the magical glinting veils of colour in the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights - in keeping with Chantecaille’s current campaign to highlight global warming and the plight of polar bears.

Stroke on the Celestial Nail Sheers straight over a base coat for a translucent twinkling effect or layer them as a top coat over opaque shades– and imagine the sparkling astral hues of the Aurora, say Chantecaille. That might be a touch fanciful but frankly, we’re enchanted whatever!

The formulas are vegan and 8-free so no formaldehyde or formaldehyde resin, toluene, DBP, camphor, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, or triphenyl phosphate, which we’ve been wary of for, gosh, decades now – actually since we wrote The Green Beauty Bible in 2003.  

And actually, another thing: they last unbelievably well, even on Sarah’s nails, which get a battering from her horse-keeping.
