Chanel La Crème Main Texture Riche
Chanel have laid another hand cream ‘egg’ – and we couldn’t be happier.
From the moment they first launched hand cream in this incredibly user-friendly, travel-friendly format, these creams have had a spot in our handbags. First, there was the original La Crème Main, a skin-quenching, sinks-in-fast skin-smoother that leaped straight out of the Jiffy bag it was delivered in and into our own handbags. (Read our review here.)
Then the egg packaging was offered in a version freshly scented with Chanel No5 L’Eau. Double-swoon.
And now, just in time for winter’s ravages, comes the richest version yet, enriched with shea butter and glycerine, and formulated to veil the hands in a beautiful scent from May rose floral wax (from flowers grown in Chanel’s own fields in Grasse), alongside Iris pallida, which has a skin-brightening action.
We absolutely love the way the clever packaging delivers the perfect dose of hand cream with one squeeze. Many’s the time we’ve had envious glances, whipping out a Chanel ‘egg’ in the Ladies – and of course, we always offer a squirt. (It’s only polite.)
Can’t justify the beauty investment for yourself in this, at this time of year? We can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t want this egg – at Christmas, in this case, rather than Easter. (Or just drop a massive hint to Santa…)
