Beauty entrepreneurs: your chance for A-list mentoring

We know that many up-and-coming beauty brands follow our beautybible.com website. And among them are more than a few members of the beauty world’s networking organisation, CEW (UK), short for Cosmetic Executive Women.

So: for CEW members (which is priced from just £64 a year for Young Executive Members), an incredible opportunity awaits. With sponsorship from PUIG – the beauty empire that is home to brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Carolina Herrera, Jean Paul Gaultier, Paco Rabanne and more – CEW have just launched a fantastic Two-Way Mentoring Scheme, which will pair some of the industry’s leading names with new talent entering the beauty arena.

Those names include Fenwick’s Vesa Kalho, Aaron Chatterley (founder of feelunique.com), superfacialist Antonia Burrell, Elemis founder Oriele Frank, Gill Smith (MD of The Perfume Shop), and Temple Spa’s founder, Liz Warom, among other WOWZER names!

The initial scheme will run for six months, with repeated cycles, in future. (And remember: this is two-way mentoring, so chances are that no matter how high-flying the mentors, they’ll be learning a lot through the exchange of ideas and insights with newbies in the industry.)

To enter, CEW Members have to follow a simple application process, and have entries in by 5 p.m. tomorrow (11th February). You need to have a valid CEW membership – but if you’re not signed up, there’ll be other opportunities in future, as mentioned above.

We have hugely benefited ourselves from mentoring by industry figures; Jo’s own mentor was the inspirational Anita Roddick, and over the years, we have taken many young women under our own wing and helped to develop them. So w know it works – and this is an amazing chance to learn from some of the best in the business.
