Well, aside from winning the mouthful-of-the-year award for a product name, Benefit Brow Contour Pro 4-in-1 Defining & Highlight Brow Pencil is a real winner in many ways. (Not ACTUALLY a Beauty Bible winner, as yet, but if we were betting types…)
Remember those pens you loved as a kid, which you clicked and a coloured nib appeared? This is that – in make-up format.
What we like about it is that it features a couple of shades of (propelling) brow pencil – which means it never needs sharpening and can’t scratch skin – alongside a couple of definer/highlighter shades.
Define by using the creamy definer from end-to-end. Then add a touch of that gleamy highlighter right under your arch, and you’ll get fantastic sharpness and definition.
In point of fact, the most realistic brow effects come from using more than one shade of pencil – because our brows just aren’t, naturally, a single shade. So you can feather in the lighter shade – and then our advice is to add a touch of the darker shade nib, again at the arch.
It comes in five shades – or rather, five combinations, ranging from a really blonde/light shade through to black/deep.
