Beauty Pie Featherlight UVA/UVB Sunscreen + Primer

Recently, we were lucky enough to be ‘personal-shopped’ by our old chum, Beauty Pie founder Marcia Kilgore, during Beauty Pie’s pop-up moment in Covent Garden. (With some expert input from former Vogue Beauty Director Nicola Moulton, too.) And this sunscreen has risen straight to the top of the charts, product-wise, from our ‘prescription’.

First, a little word about Beauty Pie: Marcia works directly with some of the best make-up and skincare manufacturers and labs in the world, offering amazing discounted prices if you’re a member of her Beauty Pie Club. (£10 a month, sign up here, and cancel anytime; monthly spending limit £300.) If you’re a member, you get a mahoosive discount – and if you’re not, you pay ‘retail’.

Cleverly, it’s a broad-spectrum SPF with a side-hustle as a primer. On the generous side, protection-wise, with an SPF50 (that tends to be the figure we go for, round these parts): sinks in super-easily, no streaking, and lightly hydrating, with it – although ‘non-comedogenic’, so it won’t block pores on oilier skins. We very much like the fact that on skins that need more moisture, meanwhile, this can be layered over your regular skincare favourite moisturiser or anti-ager.

Beyond that, however, Featherlight UVA/UVB Sunscreen + Primer also acts as a smoothing primer that turbo-charges make-up performance, even (as we’ve found lately) on some sweltering days, lately. (And yes, when we’re out and about, we DO still wear make-up in summer. For gardening? Not so much…)

An absolutely MARVELLOUS multi-tasker.

Just like Marcia.
