Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Fenjal bath and body treats

Nothing smells quite like Fenjal. We’ve loved the original classic Fenjal Bath Oil for too many decades to count – loved by our mums, nicked from her supply, and then occasionally rediscovered with delight over the years, reminded perhaps when queueing for a prescription somewhere, or when a fellow beauty editor does a round-up of iconic products. And then we fall in love, all over again.

What hadn’t quite dawned on us till now, though, is that there’s an entire line-up of bath and body products to layer on that unique smell – powdery, yet aromatic at the same time. Cocooning. Honestly not like anything else out there, and all the more wonderful, for that.

There’s quite a large range, but we’ve tried and loved the Crème Body Wash, Body Lotion and especially the Hand Care Cream, below. And never mind the smell, either: it’s a dashed good hand cream in its own right, with lashings of shea butter and almond oil. Applied to hands that are dancing over keyboards (ours mostly are), it gives little puffs of Fenjal-ness, which are a real joy.
