Fab Finds of the Week: presents under £25
However generous you feel, this time of year puts a strain on your purse. But we’re here to tell you that there are some truly scrumptious presents for under £25, some a long way under. We would be very happy to give or receive any of these.
Cath Kidston Mini Cherry Sprig Mirror Compact Lip Balm by Heathcote & Ivory/£8:. Irresistible and very useful, this lip balm tastes of wild cherries and softens lips with shea and cocoa seed butters and vitamin E. There’s a matching Mini Cherry Sprig Hand Cream Trio, too. Warning: you might spend quite a long time on this gorgeous site. (And they have shower caps too! - a vanishing breed in most high street stores. Sanda Aromatherapy Eye Pillow/ £22. Gorgeous soothers for tired peepers, in a range of scents for different effects – uplifting, calming or sleepy. We love the calming Pine & Sage, sleepy-making Lavender & Chamomile and uplifting Eucalyptus & Peppermint, but do look at the others too. Handmade in the UK with organic unbleached linen coloured in pretty pastels with plant dyes. They come beautifully packaged, ready to gift.
Sanctuary Spa Decadent Delights gift box/£20 at boots.com (may be on offer if you’re lucky). Just one of this ‘beauty steal’ brand’s fantastic Christmas offerings. There’s lots of little stocking presents too, like Sanctuary Spa Butter Me Up body butter, just £4 for a 100ml tub.
Cuski Baby Comforter/£17.99. New or about-to-be-mums (or grandmothers) will thank you for Cuski’s now legendary Comforters, made from soft, machine-washable bamboo yarn; it’s our go-to present for every new baby – and we are about to have a new arrival in the Beauty Bible extended family so an award-winning Pinkee-Boo (it’s a girl!) is on the way.
Temple Spa Silent Night Sleep Aid Kit,/£21. This collection contains four calming products – Drift Away bath and massage oil, Repose night cream, Aaahhh! soothing balm for aching feet and Quietude calming mist - plus a soft sleep mask and ear plugs. L’Occitane Almond Festive Bauble/£12. Hang on the tree or pop in a stocking, this pretty bauble from the Provencal brand contains travel sizes of Almond Shower Oil, Almond Milk Concentrate and Delicious Hands. We’re pretty taken with star-shaped Verbena Festive Bauble too, also £12, with Verbena Leaf Soap and matching Body Lotion and Hand Cream.
Jurlique Rose Hand Cream/£18. Beautifully boxed, this rich protective hand cream makes a perfect present, also in Lavender, Citrus and Jasmine – which might make you feel very generous.
