The White Company Textured Ceramic Electronic Diffuser

There’s a resurgence in interest in aromatherapy, as many of us discover (or rediscover) it as a way to find balance in this bonkers world we’re living in. (We’re huge fans of aromatherapy, but we’ve certainly been relying on an arsenal of essential oils – energising citrus, grounding woods, calming lavender or geranium – to get us through the day.)

The White Company’s textured ceramic diffuser, above, is not cheap – but it has various features that mean it’s a cut above the rest. Three time settings, for instance – two hours (usually enough), eight hours (perhaps to pump out restful scents while you slumber), or 16 hours. Importantly, the diffuser automatically shuts off if the water level is low.

What we also like very much is that it mists the air – ideal right now, when air is drier than the Sahara thanks to the fact we’ve all got the thermostat hiked up to the max. Skin will thank you for THAT.

And we have to say: this is an absolute beaut of a diffuser. Well, we’d have expected nothing less than totally elegant from The White Company – see it in situ, below, with its almost equally beautifully designed predecessor – but when it comes to our interiors, looks really do matter more than ever, don’t they?
