Beauty Bible Loves... Trinny London See The Light SPF50+
Three years in the making, this. And we’re so not surprised, knowing Trinny to be a perfectionist who’s not afraid of taking her time to get something just so, before launching it on her (completely adoring) public. Apparently, she worked her way through 400 other brands’ products, which she DIDN’T love, before settling on one that she did.
Trinny’s patience has paid off, with a daily broad spectrum SPF50+ sunscreen that’s a positive joy to use (and we can’t often say that). Weightless yet deeply, deeply hydrating, unlike so many we try. It has great ‘slip’, gliding over skin without ever dragging – truly a pleasure and even something to be looked forward to.
What’s more, it smells good – a little fresh, a little floral, quite subtle but also quite, quite lovely. (And weirdly, like an old favourite Lancôme body cream that Jo used back in the 1980s, whose name escapes her. But such is fragrance’s power to transport people through time and space, Jo’s right back in the changing rooms after her regular morning swim, every time she applies this.)
No white cast on the skin, either, just a natural-looking dewy finish, making it suitable for absolutely all skintones.
Like Trinny BFF De-Stress Tinted Serum – an absolute cornerstone of our beauty regime – we cannot imagine being without this, now.
