Beauty Bible Loves... Sculpted by Aimee HydraTint

Have you discovered Aimee Connolly, yet? She is absolutely our tip to be ‘the next Bobbi Brown’ (not that there’ll ever be anyone quite like Bobbi, but you get our drift). Aimee is a Dublin-based make-up artist, just 30 years old – and pretty much everything we’ve tried of hers, we’ve loved. (So have testers: several Sculpted by Aimee make-up creations scooped Beauty Bible Awards, this year.

Aimee started in beauty at just 16 (working for Urban Decay in Dundrum), but later attended the Smurfit Business School, where she honed what are clearly strong entrepreneurial skills. Her make-up is sold in hundreds of locations, now – including at Boots.

Well, here’s the latest of her creations, already a firm favourite at Beauty Bible HQ – just the perfect ‘skin tint’ for this time of year. Sculpted by Aimee HydraTint offers enough coverage to even out your complexion, but not so full as to look ‘mask-like’ – and is pleasantly moisturising, with it. (Yes, this is actually a tinted, serum-textured moisturiser, albeit by a sexier name.) It feels quenching on the skin, but isn’t so dewy that skin looks or feels ‘wet’.

As with all tinted moisturisers, though, it should be matched to your skin – and we’re delighted to share that there are 20 shade options, a really inclusive line-up that covers literally every skintone.

And while Aimee may just be 30, rest assured: this – and everything else in the line-up – still works brilliantly for those of us old enough to be her mother. (We’d be jolly proud if we were, BTW.)
