MZ Skin Micro-Peeling Glow Essence
Okay, so lets start with the dodgy bit: like all the products in Dr. Maryam Zamani’s skincare portfolio this is expensive. But, like all her products, it’s a real wonder worker, according to Sarah, who’s become a devotee of the brand over the last few years.
The innocent-looking, palest pink bottle contains an abundance of skin-cherishing ingredients to boost radiance and even tone. Dr. Zamani says: ‘I created this multi-tasking, glow-boosting tonic combining seven powerhouse actives that work synergistically to resurface and renew while replenishing and hydrating the skin’. And it’s suitable for even the most sensitive skin.
MZ Skin Micro-Peeling Glow Essence is designed to be used two to three times a week – and it’s simple as ABC: just moisten a cotton pad (we like Boots Botanics Reusable Cleansing Pads, which won an Award here), and swipe over two to three times a week.
Trials over 12 weeks showed that it increased skin moisturisation by up to 59.8%,radiance up to 37.1%, reduced pigmentation by up to 12.4%, and increased smoothness by up to 22.5%.
Sarah’s experience is that you do see immediate results in terms of, yes, glow as well as softness and smoothness. But, as ever for best results, you need to use it consistently in tandem with a good skincare regime (although that doesn’t mean super complicated with masses of layering – just thorough cleansing and moisturising).
Could be worth emptying your beauty piggy bank for, we’d say.
