Beauty Bible Loves... Müll Club x Faace Quality Street Set
We’re sure we’re not the only ones who sat there passing around the chocs at Christmas and feeling nostalgic about the old-fashioned Quality Street tins, lamenting their demise in favour of plastic. Chocolate often comes gift-wrapped with a little frisson of guilt, for many people (um, not us!) – but it definitely pricks the conscience when you think about sending your tin to landfill.
So we absolutely love this collab between Faace and Müll Club, who’ve created a soap dish from Quality Street tubs (and other plastic waste), each of which saves around 64g of plastic from entering what they describe as ‘a flawed recycling system’, incineration or landfill.
The marbled purple dishes are cleverly designed to prevent your soap from going soggy, with that zig-zag design. Each soap dish is unique – because no two swirls of the recycled plastic will look alike.
And the soap itself? The Filthy Faace bar is designed for use everywhere from face to feet, it offers a skin-friendly blend of glycerine and shea butter to keep skin soft and hydrated, along with coconut and olive oil – plus sweet orange, for scent.
Our challenge to the beauty industry: please figure out what to do with those Quality Street wrappers, next!
