Beauty Bible Loves... Leighton Denny Supernaturals polishes

We love a fluoro nail polish as much as the next person. But here’s the thing: neon shades need bright sunlight to really ‘pop’. On a grey, overcast day – of which there have been way too many, this ‘summer’ – they just stick out like a sore thumb. (Or possibly toe.)

So instead, while we wait for the British Summer to play ball, we’ve been reaching for these shades from Leighton Denny, recently launched as the Supernaturals – and we thought we’d walk you through them…

Starkers – semi-sheer, a putty-like pink nude for an understated groomed look. (You could also use it as a French manicure shade, adding those signature white tips.)

Undressed – the sort of colour Sarah (Stacey) loves best, a semi-sheer, taupe-y nude. Très stylish.

Exposed – subtler on the nails than it appears in the bottle, this is a semi-sheer lilac that’s simply pretty, pretty, pretty.

We figure they’d also be great shades for a bride (or mother thereof) – chic, but classic-with-a-twist.
