Beauty Bible Loves… Gatineau Tan Accelerating Lotion
When the sun finally put its hat on a few weeks ago, we were pretty pastry-like. But around that time, a mahoosive bottle of this landed on our desks and we thought we’d give it a go.
Gatineau Tan Accelerating Lotion scooped a Silver in this year’s Awards, and only having just so much skin to try products on, we often just leave the verdict to our testers. But that bottle looked so tempting…
And here’s what Jo found, after massaging into legs and arms each morning: that within just a few days, and not a HUGE amount of sun exposure (maybe half an hour a day, walking to and fro), she’d developed a really golden glow. (NB We absolutely believe that a certain amount of sunshine is necessary for overall health, including protection against osteoporosis and cancer. The key is not to overdo it.)
It's is a light, not-sticky, fresh-scented lotion which is super-easy to massage into skin as an excellent summer alternative to regular body lotion. And it says a LOT that Gatineau offer this in such a giant size – always testament to the popularity of a product.
One tester found that it extended the life of her tan by ‘an astonishing five weeks’ – we’ll see, at the tail-end of summer.
