Beauty Bible Loves... Floragy Rose Edition Restore Body Oil (with a donation to Refuge)
Beauty’s obviously having a very generous moment – although to be fair, this is an incredibly generous industry, from the brands who support Beauty Banks and our own Centrepoint Christmas gift drive, through to smaller brands like Floragy.
They just launched Rose Edition Restore Body Oil, a luscious all-natural body oil with a sense-delighting scent featuring some of our favourite fragrant oils – rose geranium, rose and lavender.
With base oils that include camellia, coconut and rosehip oils, together with olive squalane, it’s lusciously great for end-of-summer skin, to restore suppleness and nourish before the central heating goes back on. (Although PLEASE let that be a long time coming!) Rich, yes – but not so rich that it needs lots of rubbing. You’ll be satiny-silky in no time.
And… we very much like the fact that from the price, £5 will be donated to Refuge – the incredibly worthwhile charity which offers ‘safety, hope and new beginnings to those affected by domestic violence.’ (We especially love it when brands support charities that are a bit ‘crunchier’, including those focused around mental health, homelessness or – as here – domestic violence.) It’s a subject very close to founder Louisa Tidy’s heart as, she writes, ‘my husband experienced domestic violence during his childhood.
‘His journey inspired us to support those in similar situations. Refuge tirelessly restores the lives of those impacted by domestic violence, offering them safety, hope, and new beginnings through vital services like emergency housing, emotional support, and advocacy.’
Great stuff.
