e.l.f. Putty Bronzer

Some Very Expensive Brands have been launching cream bronzers lately. We’re converts to this cream-to-powder format, finding it easy to blend – thanks to the inclusion of argan and vitamin E – and delivering a surprisingly realistic sun-kissed look, simply blurring into skin. (Don’t be put off by the name ‘putty’; it’s  not in the least gummy or sticky.)

It comes in five highly-pigmented shades (ours is called ‘Tan Lines’), and while we’re not a fan of contouring per se, we’ve also been experimenting with using it along the jaw-line, to sharpen slilghtly. Works a treat. And like everything from e.l.f. (of whom we are ENORMOUS fans), it’s a flipping bargain.

The dinky pot also fits in even the tiniest clutch, if you feel like a top up – and should you be heading off on a late summer holiday with hand luggage only, that’s your glow, sorted.
