Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: e.l.f. Lash XTNDR Mascara
We consider it our civic duty to inform you whenever we find a great mascara bargain. So, here goes.
From fabulous e.l.f. (it’s short for ‘Eyes, Lips, Face’) comes an excellent lengthening mascara which also happens to use ‘tubing’ technology – in other words, you don’t use eye make-up remover to take it off, but instead a warm-to-hot flannel does the job. (We’ll never quite understand how this works, but it does.)
The tapered silicone wand for e.l.f. Lash XTNDR Mascara is super-grippy, allowing for almost vertical lift if you use it to shape your lashes thus. But it also extends, subtly – we’re not talking false-lash effect, but a real lash-boosting result, which you can build on easily if you want. And once in place, honestly no flaking or smudging (that’s why so many beauty editors swear by tubing mascaras!)
Three shades, though as ever we went for Pitch Black, rather than Soft Black or Deep Brown, ignoring advice from many a make-up artist who’s done our faces and advised this latter choice. (Just doesn’t have the impact we like, brown.)
Seven quid? Can’t argue with that – in fact, this is EXTRMLY impressive, overall.
